TEMPORARY EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM FOR THE OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT

The Temporary Employment Program for the Office of the President (TOPS) provides immediate clerical and technical support services to UCOP Departments and various off-campus locations. Temporary employment is also a viable recruitment source of candidates for casual and career vacancies.

    • TOPS invoices are processed monthly and sent to each department. The invoices will contain information such as employee name, job title, number of hours worked, rate of pay, benefits costs, recharge percentage, and total recharge due. For example, invoices mailed March 13, 2009 will contain the charges from the January 25 through March 7, 2009 pay cycles. Questions regarding TOPS recharge invoices should be directed to the TOPS Coordinator at (510) 987-0817.
