Separating Faculty and Staff

  Faculty and staff that separate from the University may be may be eligible to continue certain benefit plans through COBRA.

  For separating vested UCRP Members age 50 (or older) who wish to elect UCRP benefits (including CAP) within 120 days of separation date, contact UCSF HR/Benefits and arrange to speak with a Retirement Counselor 1.415.476.1400.

  For non-vested UCRP Members who are separating, contact the UC Customer Service Center at 1-800-888-8267, 8:30 a.m., 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday, to arrange for distribution of CAP (only).

  For UC Retirement Savings Program accounts, please contact Fidelity Retirement Services either online or by telephoning them at 1.866.682.7787.
