Ruth Assily Becomes Director -- Office of Loan Programs

OFFICE OF THE PRESIDENT COMMUNITY:

I am pleased to announce that effective August 1, 2007, Ruth Assily assumed the position of Director - Office of Loan Programs. Ruth was offered the position subsequent to a search to fill the opening which was left vacant as a result of the retirement of Steve Mathews in June of this year.

Ruth brings with her over 20 years of experience with the Office of Loan Programs at UCOP, including serving as the Assistant, and then Associate, Director of Loan Programs during the past 7 years. It is this extensive experience that makes Ruth a perfect fit for this position.
