This week's update includes a reminder of job openings related to UCOP restructuring and details of upcoming brown bag meetings.

Reminder of job openings
Application deadlines are approaching for a number of open positions related to UCOP restructuring, including project management and change management positions in a new Office of Strategic Change Resources (closing October 14), leadership positions in the new consolidated Communications unit (closing October 23), and Divisional Coordinator positions in Academic Affairs and Business Operations (closing October 24). A number of new jobs also opened in the past week, including positions in the immediate office for External Relations and executive assistant and administrative assistant positions in Human Resources. Employees interested in new employment opportunities should check the UCOP Jobs website regularly for new postings and application deadlines.

Upcoming brown bag meetings
Next week's brown bag meetings will feature an overview of External Relations presented by Senior Vice President Alan Hoffman, as well as organizational updates on the new Institutional Research (IR) and Issues Management and Policy Analysis Coordination (IMPAC) units, and the new Divisional Coordinator positions.
